How to claim a refund?

  • Before returning, please send an email to customercare@autosupply.co.za (with your order # in the subject line) explaining the issue and providing images if possible.
  • One of our dedicated staff members will contact you to explain our process as well as assist you with your return.
  • We will process the refund within 7 days of receiving the goods.

Our returns policy is as follows:

  • Returns, Refunds & Warranty Policy

    1. Return & Exchange Periods
      • Refund requests must be submitted within 7 working days from the date of receipt.
      • Exchanges may be requested within 30 working days from the date of receipt.
      • No returns or exchanges will be accepted after 30 working days.
    2. Processing Time
      • Refunds and returns may take up to 7 working days to process from the date the item is received.
    3. Condition of Returned Goods
      • All returned items must be in their original condition and packaging.
      • Items with damaged packaging, oil stains, paint/spray marks, missing components, or signs of use may:
        • be rejected, or
        • incur a handling fee between 15% and 30%.
    4. Incorrectly Ordered Items
      • If a customer orders the incorrect item, the customer will be responsible for all shipping and return costs.
    5. Non-Returnable Items
      • Promotional items are strictly non-refundable and non-returnable.
      • Special-order items are strictly non-returnable and non-refundable.
    6. Return Authorization Requirements
      • No refund, exchange, or replacement will be processed without a fully completed and signed Return Request Form
      • Verbal instructions or handwritten notes will not be accepted as valid return requests.
      • All exchanges must follow the formal return procedure.
    7. Tampered or Modified Parts
      • Autosupply will not accept any item that has been modified, tampered with, or altered in any way.
    8. Valid Return Reasons
      • All returns must include a clear and detailed reason for return, such as:
        • cracked lens,
        • incorrect grille dimensions,
        • mounting points not matching.
      • Generic reasons such as:
        • “faulty”,
        • “wrong part”,
        • “not working”,
        • “broken”
          will not be accepted without supporting detail.
    9. Warranty Coverage
      • All parts carry a factory warranty limited to defects in workmanship and/or materials only.
      • Warranty does not cover normal wear and tear.
    10. Warranty Claims & Replacements
    • Where a part fails prematurely due to a manufacturing or material defect, a replacement part will be supplied after thorough inspection and testing.
    1. Qualified Installation Requirement
    • Warranty becomes null and void if parts are not fitted by a qualified technician.
    1. Limitation of Liability
    • Autosupply will not be liable for any consequential damages or losses resulting from product failure.
    • Liability is strictly limited to the replacement of the defective product only.
    1. Refund Policy
    • Strictly no cash refunds.

Additional Charges

Please be aware that your return may be subject to handling and collection fees. If applicable, these will be deducted from your refund credit except electrical parts where the cost of testing them to ensure their re-saleability as well as the cost of repackaging will also be deducted from the credit.

Goods must be fitted by a suitably qualified technician

It is essential that components, parts, equipment or related items are fitted/ installed by a qualified technician to perform the proper fitment/ installation, proof of compliance being the customers responsibility prior to any claim under the warranty being entertained.

Local Pickup – Collection Policy

You will be notified via email within 48 working hours once the order is ready for collection.

  • Orders must be collected within 30 days from the date the collection email is sent.

  • Customers are responsible for ensuring collection within this timeframe.
    If an order is not collected within the stipulated period, Autosupply reserves the right to cancel the order and process a refund in line with our refund procedures.
