I purchased this fan for the second time and it has not lasted me a year in both instances. It has resulted in my vehicle overheating due to it not switching on. Upon testing the fan with my mechanic, the fan was manually turned which triggered it to switch on. It turns off again but does not turn back on when required to. It appears that over time the brushes in this unit become defective resulting in no contact of the electrical components.
